Tinubu snubs Lagos State deputy governor

Unknown to many, there is a silent but raging feud going on between a female member of the Senate, Chief Oluremi Tinubu, and the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Adejoke Orelope Adefulire.
But no one seems to be certain what the issue is between the two Lagos State women of substance.
The rift, according to available information reaching The Eagle Online, appears to be centered around the allegation by Tinubu that Adefulire abandoned her benefactor and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu once she got the appointment.
Tinubu, many insist till today, influenced Adefulire’s choice for the plum job of deputy governor despite her alleged low quality of education.
Another dependable source disclosed that prior to Adefulire becoming the deputy governor, she used to be at the beck and call of the Tinubu’s, with many tagging her as the errand girl of the former First Lady and now senator.
However, with her emergence as deputy governor, Adefulire was said to have distanced herself from the Tinubus.
And when Tinubu and Adefulire met at the wedding of Bisola Dejonwo, the daughter of Wosilat Okoya, on Lagos Island a few weeks back, no one was left in doubt that there was a festering face-off.
As Adefulire arrived at the party and was moving around, extending courtesies to those present, Tinubu snubbed her by looking away when she came to her seat.
The deputy governor stylishly moved on to chat with other guests.
A couple of observers who witnessed the incident were shocked but pretended as if nothing had happened.
