Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, is being arraigned at the Federal High Court, Lagos on a 47 count charge of alleged money laundering.
The former minister, who was first arraigned before Justice Ramat Mohammed of the same court on December 23, 2008, was re-arraigned before a new judge, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako, on February 16, 2012 because of the re-assignment of the case by the Chief Judge following the transfer of Justice Mohammed out of Lagos.
The trial was thereafter fixed for October 10, 2012 by Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako of a Federal High Court in Lagos.
In November 2012, the Federal High Court in Lagos again fixed February 11, 2013 for the commencement of trial of Fani-Kayode.
