Obat buys 2014 Rolls Royce Bentley despite claim of crumbling businesses

The Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom in Ondo State and Chairman of Obat Oil, Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan, has made history as first Nigerian to buy the 2014 Bentley.
The controversial king did not buy off the shelve.
Rather, his own Bentley was specially made for him, said a close source.
The wonder-on-wheels, which arrived Nigeria a week ago, has a customized number plate, Olugbo.
Obat is also said have a custom built 2012 Rolls Royce similar to that of Queen Elizabeth 11.
However, observers are dumbfounded that Oba Akinruntan still has the money to acquire such wonders-on-wheel despite claim that his business empire is crumbling.
Two of his sons are said to be on the management board of his companies that are said to be collapsing.
Some examples are quickly cited by those who claim to know Obat well.
They allude to the state of one of his filling stations beside Otedola Estate at Berger in Lagos State.
The station is said to have been under construction for many years.
It has even become a dumping ground for Obat Oil tankers that are no longer repairable.
Another filling station in Abuja is going through a similar fate as it has also been abandoned.
Nobody knows for sure what is happening to the business empire of the wealthy monarch.
But his majesty’s status is soaring by the day.
A close source said Obat has since focussed on running his oil rich kingdom, leaving his sons to manage his businesses.
This could be the problem of his crumbling businesses, the source added.
