Three undergraduates killed, eight injured as students, soldiers clash

Three students were killed while eight others sustained injury during an early morning protest in Nassarawa State University, Nasarawa State.
The students who took to the streets in Keffi Local Government Area on Tuesday to stage a peaceful protest over water scarcity in the school, were said to have been shot at by soldiers.
It was gathered that immediately the student took to the street, the state Governor, Alhaji Al Makura, called on soldiers in the state to help restore sanity on the campus.
Sources stated that immediately the soldiers got to the spot of the protest, they opened fire on the students.
The school has been shut down till further notice.
