N200m demanded for abducted expatriantes in Bayelsa

The yet-to-be-identified gunmen who kidnapped six expatriates in Bayelsa State have made a demand of N200 million.
The expatriates were abducted off the coastline of Bayelsa State by the gunmen.
They were made up of three Ukrainians, two Indians and a Russian.
They are all sailors.
There were said to be 15 sailors on the vessel that operates from Lagos State.
The abduction was carried out by about 10 gunmen who stormed the vessel on high sea.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Police Command, Fidelis Odunna, confirmed the development on Wednesday.
Odunna said: “We have already dispatched our men to track down the kidnappers and contact has been established with them and they are asking for N200 million.”
