Three die in Abuja multiple crash

No fewer than three persons died in a multiple crash on Tuesday evening in Karu area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The accident, which occurred at Karu, under the bridge along Nyanya-Keffi Road, involved 15 vehicles.
The driver of a BNI Company truck with reg no XV 239 ABC, lost control of the vehicle at about 4:15pm, resulting in the truck crashing into 14 other vehicles.
According to information made available by the Federal Road Safety Corps, the vehicles hit by the truck were Nissan Primera reg no ES 386 ABC, Nissan Primera EL 839 ABJ, Nissan Primera CX 45 BEN, Toyota car DM 551 ABJ, Golf 3 car BG 554 RBC, Honda Accord HV 896 KJA, Honda Accord JW 260 AAA, Toyota Siena FE 770 LND, Toyota Camry BR 851 KWL, Toyota Sienna ABC 325 AL, Toyota Hilux CF 509 LSD, Toyota Carina GP 956 ABC, Toyota Canter Pick up XF 517 FGE and a BMW car.
Three men, according to the FRSC, died from the crash while eight were injured.
The victims were taken to the General Hospital in Asokoro area of Abuja.
