The remains of Apostle Bimpe Sorinolu, the younger sister of ex-governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, has been laid to rest in the United kingdom.
Sorinolu’s final journey home began on Tuesday with a service of songs at the Christ Royal Church in Hackney, London.
Sorinolu was interred on Wednesday amidst tears at the City London Cemetery.
The funeral service and interment climaxed the whole programme.
Her elder brother, Fayose, who was conspicuously present at the final burial in the far away United Kingdom, was said to have wept uncontrollably.
Sorinolu had during her illness planned her interment.
It was learnt that the late Lagos high society lady ordered that she should be given a befitting burial in the United Kingdom.
She even put together the burial committees, a source added.
Sorinolu, who would have been 47 years in November, died after a long battle with cancer at St Joseph Hospice, Mare Street, Hackney, London, United Kingdom.
