The remains of fast rising hip hop artiste, Damilola Ibrahim Olaniyan, better known as Damino Damoche, has been laid to rest.
Olaniyan was buried on Saturday (today) in Badagry, Lagos State.
He was buried at the Badagry Cemetery, amidst tears.
A candle light procession will be held in his honour later on Saturday from 6pm.
Olaniyan, was allegedly shot dead by people suspected to be cultists at the main gate of Ojo campus of the Lagos State University.
He is believed to belong to the Eiye Confraternity.
Until his death, he was a 400 level Banking and Finance student of LASU.
But as Olaniyan was being laid to rest, members of the rival cult that are suspected to have killed him are threatening more attacks.
In a response to a story carried by The Eagle Online on Friday, a member of the rival cult, who identified himself as Shameful To Be A Nigerian, said one of Olaniyan’s friends, Alo, who vowed to revenge his killing, would also be killed.
Shameful To Be A Nigerian wrote in a letter to The Eagle Online (unedited): “Alo or whatever your yeye eiye name. don’t make empty noise because you too small before Axe Men! You know Aiyes very much and you are still talking. physical and facebook is not the same!
