Nine federal permanent secretaries deployed

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the deployment of some Permanent Secretaries.
Those affected include Ambassador Godknows Igali who is moving from Water Resources to Power; Baba Umar Faruk, who moves from Youth Development to Water Resources; Ossi George Afamefuna, who leaves Women Affairs for Aviation.
Others include Nkechi Ejele, who moves from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (Manpower Development Office) to Tourism, Culture and National Orientation; Dr. Henry Akpan, also of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties) to Communication Technology; and Dr. Tunji Olaopa from Labour and Productivity to Youth Development.
Also affected by the deployment are Dr. Illoh Clement who is on a fresh appointment and will report to the Ministry of Labour and Productivity; Dr. Jamila Shuara, also a new appointee going to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties); and Dr. Habiba M. Lawal, a new appointee into Women Affairs.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Alhaji Isa Bello Sali, who announced the deployment, also directed that the process of handing and taking over should be completed on or before March 13, 2013.
